Hourly consulting offers no guarantee that the consultant will be available when you need them. And if they are out on extended vacation or sick leave, you are left high and dry if you have a pressing issue. By signing up for our Fractional Support Plans, we guarantee availability of and access to a senior-level consultant when a need arises for the level of effort and duration outlined in the plan. And if your primary consultant is on leave, we plan ahead to have an equally capable back-up lined up.

Because our consultants are already senior-level experts (10+ years) and because we have dozens of talent on our bench, the learning curve and integration time is minimal. We can typically integrate into your workflow within a few days of a request to sign up, and we begin working upon contract signature.

Absolutely. Our plans are designed to scale with your success. As your company and needs grow, we can scale you up to a higher plan. Likewise, once the cycle of your plan ends, you may drop down to a lower tier if you no longer need a high-level of dedication from us. Further, we offer monthly, 6-month, and 12-month plans, with month-to-month plans offering the greatest level of flexibility to scale up or down.

For companies looking for little commitment, we recommend starting with our lowest month-to-month option of 5 hours. This low commitment allows for Akiri and you to get a feel for each other and figure out if a higher level of dedication is necessary moving forward.

Both. It depends on what YOU are looking for. We can either serve strictly as an Advisory Partner (reviewing and recommending when requested) or a Functional Partner (being involved in daily discussions, drafting contracts, preparing cost proposals, and developing templates). For companies lacking any in-house expertise, we highly recommend a functional partnership. This arrangement allows us to be involved in day-to-day operations and anticipate when a compliance, pricing, or management issue will arise. Thus, we can prepare accordingly to minimize your risk and ensure compliance. With the Advisory Partnership, your team has the skill set already in place to take this proactive approach to your work, and you call on us only when you need that senior-level expertise to "gut check" your decisions or navigate a tricky negotiation.

Yes, within the bounds of our expertise. Everything listed on this page is available to you under the plans. For example, if you have historically only pursued grant opportunities but made the executive decision to start pursuing contracts after signing up for one of our plans, we will happily support those efforts.

No. While we dedicate resources to meet the maximum capacity level outlined in your particular plan, we are not "on-call". Being on-call means being available 24/7 or at least for 8 hours, 5 days a week, meaning we are holding all of our time for one single client. For clients who need a consultant available on specific days of the week during specific hourly blocks, we do have staff augmentation agreements available.
