Cancellation Policy

Payment herein covers two hours of Akiri’s time to review the request, conduct research, prepare for the call, and conduct the call. Client shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Akiri from and against all loss, liability, damage and expense related to claims arising from: a. the acts or omissions of the Client, its employees, officers, directors, agents or its subcontractors; or b. injury or death to persons, including officers, directors, employees, agents and subcontractors of the Client, or loss of or damage to property, or fines and penalties which may result, in whole or in part, by reason of the buying, selling, distribution, or use of any of the goods or services purchased or provided under this contract except to the extent that such damage is due to the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Akiri. Akiri recommends advice and guidance. Akiri has neither the authority nor the responsibility to make final decisions regarding any Client budget, proposal, contract/subcontract, allowability determination, or any other business decisions. Client has the authority to revise recommendations, drafts, and other work products/services. Implementation of any recommendation is a direct result of decisions by the Client, and not initiated or controlled by Akiri. The Client is responsible for compliance with laws, regulations, contracts, and agreements related to the assignment. Client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any information provided to Akiri. Akiri applies professional care, relying on information provided to Akiri by Client. Client agrees and understands that it has hired Akiri Consulting to provide the services, which includes efforts to identify and manage qualified talent to carry out the scope of work. As such, Client agrees to only utilize the services of the Consultants presented by Akiri to Client under this contract with Akiri and will not separately solicit the services of the presented consultants to carry out separate independent contract or employment arrangements directly with Client. This non-solicitation agreement will remain in effect for one year after this agreement’s expiration. Agreement is subject to Akiri's standard NDA found at https://akiriconsulting.com/nda.
